Helping Hand Home for Children was honored to have been chosen as one of five beneficiaries for the 2017 World Golf Championships- Dell Technologies Match Play this past March. Sixty-four top-ranked professional golfers came from around the world to play in Dell’s hometown at the beautiful Austin Country Club March 22nd through March 26th.

Since its move to Austin, the tournament has generated more than $2.1 million in charitable proceeds benefiting not just Helping Hand Home, but Austin Parks Foundation, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area, The First Tee, and Keep Austin Beautiful. The event has generated more than $17 million for charity since its inception, including past locations and title sponsors.

Dell Technologies and the PGA TOUR join in our belief that every child can grow to find a full, meaningful life regardless of past experiences. Together, using the money raised at Dell Technologies Match Play, we are uplifting children who have suffered severe abuse and neglect so they can live up to their full potential. Match Play funding allows us to serve nearly 400 children and family members with residential treatment, education, and foster and adoption services. Our children have big hearts and big dreams. With the inspiring work of Dell Technologies, the PGA TOUR, and all the participants of this year’s Match Play, who knows, maybe we have some future pro golfers living at the Home!
Whether you were a fan, spectator, sponsor, or volunteer, if you were a part of the Dell Technologies Match Play, you helped thousands of kids in our community. Thank you to everyone who supported this year’s event. By investing in children, we invest in the future. We can’t wait to see you in 2018!
