Despite the rain, the Austin community pulled through for Helping Hand Home today! So many wonderful people came out to support Jersey Mike’s Day of Giving where 100% of each purchase supports another 125 years of Helping Hand Home for Children providing love, hope, and nurturing, therapeutic care to Austin’s most vulnerable children in the foster care system. Thank you so much to Jersey Mike’s Subs for your incredible generosity and commitment to this community, and thank you to each and everyone who helped spread the word, visited a Jersey Mike’s, and supported the Home. A special thank you goes out to KXAN’s Amanda Tatom who turned the Day of Giving into a scavenger hunt to get more people there. Thank you, Amanda!
