Each year, Impact Austin awards grants to area nonprofits powered by collective giving of hundreds of women philanthropists. This year, the 446 women of Impact Austin awarded four $111,500 grants to their 2018 Community Partners including Helping Hand Home for Children, Jeremiah Program, CASA of Travis County, and Communities In Schools of Central Texas. The Impact Austin grant for Helping Hand Home for Children will be used to expand the capacity of the Families First Program which recruits, trains, and supports families that will foster and adopt children with complex trauma in the foster care system. The grant will allow Helping Hand Home for Children to hire staff to recruit an additional 25 families and place an additional 30 children in highly trained homes.
We are so grateful to Impact Austin for their investment in the hope and healing of children at Helping Hand Home for Children. We are proud to partner with you to serve more children and families in our community!
